TX series is an ideal solution for larger workgroup, departmental,

world of independent secure & stable data storage
systems, combined with the additional high performance
throughput benefit that multiple drive arrays bring to

The TX12000 series may operate as either a large hard
drive cabinet, or alternatively when used in conjunction
with an integrated RAID controller module, offers full
independent RAID Array configuration. The system attaches
via an Ultra160 LVD SCSI bus and is will operate in any
open storage environment offering full operating system
independence. The RAID controller is compatible with nearly
all host operating systems operating completely independently
of the host system. |

6 hot-swap fans, 12 hot-swap drive bays and a redundant

unparalleled combination of fault tolerance in a compact

The
TX12000 equipped with a LaCie U160 RAID controller forms
a state-of-the-art Ultra 160 host-independent RAID subsystem,
ideal for Server Attached Storage. The LaCie controller
that is at the heart of the subsystem can be attached
to virtually any SCSI host computer with no special
drive devices or software required. The LaCie controller
supports up to 8 concurrent RAID sets, each with its
own unique RAID level.

TX12000 subsystems have been designed with all aspects
of security in mind. Potential day-to-day risks, such
as disk modules being removed out of curiosity or simply
being stolen, are also taken into account. With this in
mind, each disk module is equipped with its own individual
